Chocks pilot sunglasses have been specifically designed and manufactured for aviation purposes, with interchangeable lenses for different light conditions - with the Category 0 yellow lenses fitted, you can even enjoy the benefits of light enhancement on a cloudy day. With flat side arms, Chocks are comfortable when worn beneath a headset.
Featuring 100% UVA / UVB protection, the polycarbonate Chocks flying sunglasses feature a wrap-around design that blocks unwanted and annoying light (and wind) from the sides. Conforming to British and European safety standard EN1836, plus US standard ANSI Z80.3, our sunglasses offer great protection in the event of an accident. All of our glasses carry the CE compliance mark.
The interchangeable lenses are: yellow (category 1) low light - these enhance light and contrast; beige (category 2) average sunlight; dark grey (category 3), bright conditions; smoked (category 4), very bright conditions.
All lenses benefit from an anti-scratch coating, and our de-centering process, which calibrates out the potential distorting effects of placing a curved lens in front of your eyes.
All of our sunglasses come with 4 x sets of lenses as standard, a cleaning cloth and a carry case with belt clip and internal compartments for housing the extra lenses.
